Linda
Oliver
The only local candidate at this election
The only local choice for Frome North on 25 September 2014

My message to you
Thank you for the really encouraging response to my campaign from local people. Whilst out campaigning in Frome, Beckington, Norton St Philip, Rode and the surrounding villages, I have met many people who have been kind enough to promise me their support at the election on Thursday 25 September.
Local people have said how much they appreciate my positive, community-based campaign and the fact that I work all year round, not just turning up at election time. That's because I live in this community - and I am the only candidate who does! As an experienced local councillor, I have been campaigning for, and with, local people on numerous local issues which matter to our community, including:
-
Tackling traffic problems and pedestrian safety issues
-
Improving broadband speed
-
Ensuring closer liaison between County Hall and our community
You can find out more about me, and why I am standing for election, by reading my newsletter or my election address. John Osman, Leader of the County Council, has also written in support of my campaign.
Unlike some, I have fought a positive campaign, not resorting to personal attacks. Local people from across our area are backing my campaign - click here to find out more.
